Hunter 140
The Hunter 140 is a fabulous family daysailer. The wide-beam keeps it stable and dry while its planing hull allows it to really move. Parents will appreciate the unsinkability and ease of sailing for children and they will love the ability to really perform for themselves.
The hull is built with an advanced composite process which integrates an ABS plastic, high density foam and woven roving into a sandwich construction that is both unsinkable and five times more impact resistant than fiberglass. With no wood at all, the 140 is zero matinence.
Rigging the 140 is quick and easy with a deck stepped hinged mast. A large main and small jib provides plenty of power, but is also easy to handle. An uncluttered cockpit and wide bench seats can accomodate all the crew. The Hunter 140 is fun to sail and easy to maintain.
